POSITION SUMMARY
The Slot Technician is responsible to monitor the performance of electronic gaming devices, activity, and conditions of casino gaming areas ensuring all slot machines are operable and in good repair. Ensure compliance with approved procedures for the slot areas in a professional manner. The Slot Technician is a first level ambassador for guests enjoying their gaming experience at a gaming device. Protects company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance to include Internal Controls Policies and Procedures and the Responsible Gaming Plan. The Slot Technician is responsible for providing an exciting environment and World Class Service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Responsible for guest service with energy and professionalism, providing excitement and world class service
- Required to know and deliver the company core values
- Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines
- Repairs and modifies components, electric systems and peripherals of the gaming machines and kiosks
- Configures slot and video machines to meet manufacturers and regulatory agency specifications
- Removes, moves, installs and/or upgrades slot machines
- Maintains an inventory of parts for the slot machines
- Monitors and tracks the slot machine malfunctions, the cause, the repair, and the parts involved
- Tracks and records all test money usage and testing results
- Notifies shift supervisor of irregularities in customers play
- Maintains a clean and safe environment
- Required to enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
- Required to effectively handles customer concerns and requests
- Required to always maintain complete confidentiality of all company information
- Acts in the capacity of other positions on an as needed basis
- Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must have ability to:
- Must be able to sit / stand / walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to use an “in ear” communication device for radio communications
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced Casino Environment:

- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces or crowded conditions
- Must be able to clean and sanitize all gaming equipment on the Slot floor
- Must provide a clean gaming area for both our internal and external guests
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The Slot Technician must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Possess professionalism and ability to handle high levels of stress. Must be flexible with all different schedules. This position spends majority of the shift on the casino floor, and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise levels, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume. Associates degree in electronics or related field preferred, must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years of experience as a Slot Technician / Bench Technician with A+ Certification preferred. Must have excellent computer skills. Working knowledge of word processors and spread sheets. Ability to: read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, instructions, and correspondence/memos
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
- Obtain required license(s)
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
- Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department
- Knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gambling
- Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls
- Responsible for taking the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management
- Reports any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of
