JOB SUMMARY
This employee ensures proper cleaning of all guest room’s floor, bathroom, bed, and general areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all- inclusive:
- Responsible for the cleaning of guest rooms during scheduled cleaning times
- Responds to guest requests for amenities
- Vacuums floors, cleans bathroom, makes bed, and performs general dusting of room as described in company policies and procedures
- Ensures guest satisfaction of room cleanliness while simultaneously strives to reduce disruption of guest experience in facility
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
- Obtain required licenses
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
- Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department
- Adhere to Internal Control Procedures and Policies
- Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Ability to hear, speak and see. Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach and walk. Ability to lift 30 lbs. Ability to understand and communicate both verbally and written in English. Ability to follow directions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
Must have ability to:
- Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contacts
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently
- Work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Extended time seated as well as on your feet
