JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting in ensuring maximum guest service and satisfaction, food quality and standards of service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in complying with all food, health and safety regulations.
  • Schedules, evaluates and trains team members on assigned shift.
  •  Reviews and make suggestions to hire, transfer, evaluate, assign and discipline all team members on assigned shift.
  • Confers with Food and Beverage Manager concerning operations deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
  • Sets priorities for all team members on shift and provides assistance as needed.
  • Evaluates and resolves guests’ issues in prompt and professional manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education / Training / Experience

 

  • Must have strong culinary background in fine dining food management with solid work history.
  • Must have the ability to obtain an ABC permit issued by the Alcohol Beverage Commission of Mississippi.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of staff.
  • Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
  • Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience necessary.
