JOB SUMMARY
IT technicians offer support to users who are experiencing problems with their computers or software. Support can be provided in person, over the phone or online. They address issues ranging from network systems to individual desktop computers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to:
- Provide stellar customer service to all team members, vendors, and guests of Riverwalk Casino Hotel.
- Provides 24/7 on-call support for complex and critical computer application problems and issues.
- Offers support to the I.T. staff for duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Review and Adhere to all Information Technology policies, internal controls and standard operating procedures set forth by Churchill Downs Inc. and Riverwalk Casino Hotel.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Stellar verbal communication skills suitable for a professional and fast paced environment.
- Type at a minimum of 50 WPM
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows Installation & Use
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Installation & Use
- Basic Understanding of:
- CompTIA A+ Principles
- CompTIA Network+ Principles
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must complete a minimum of 20 hours of training annually in an area related to Information Technology, Casino Operations, Customer Service, Productivity, Management or Leadership, as assigned and approved by the Senior Director of Information Technology.
