JOB SUMMARY
The Director of IT oversees the management of the daily functions of the IT department and work collaboratively with the enterprise IT team to ensure that the information needs of various departments on property are met. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations, future expansion potential, reliability, and accessibly of computer system resources. Including, but not limited to, back office systems, front of house systems, telecommunications, and networking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to:
- Provides strategic direction for IT.
- Plans, directs, coordinates and reviews the work of assigned team members; assigns work activities, projects and programs; reviews and evaluates work products, methods and procedures; ensures guest service; meets with team members to identify and resolve problems.
- Selects, trains, motivates and evaluates assigned team members; provides team member training; works with team members to correct deficiencies; implements and or approves discipline as appropriate.
- Analyzes, develops, implements and recommends IT solutions.
- Creates and maintains project portfolio for property; manages multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Responsible for ensuring property data and security are not compromised.
- Maintains data integrity and documentation for all computer networks and personnel computers through proper backup, recovery and information security policies, procedures and practices.
- Defines and maintains IT budget and capital expenditures including, but not limited to, expenditures, capital requests, labor and variance reporting in accordance with department, property and enterprise IT objectives.
- Creates and ensures processes and procedures are in place and executed to meet SOX, PCI and Regulatory compliance controls.
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors of Science from an accredited university in an IT related field preferred (e.g. MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Must have a minimum of three to five years’ experience in a management capacity.
- Prior background in cabling of computer devices
- Ability to provide verbal & written communication

- Experience with Personal Computers and software is mandatory
- Knowledge of computer programming fundamentals
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
- Ability to be a TEAM player
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
