JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Shift or Assistant Shift Manager when acting as a Table Games Supervisor and under the direct supervision of the Table Games Supervisor when acting as a Dealer, the Table Games Dual Rate Supervisor / Dealer implements procedures in assigned area to ensure adherence to internal controls, standard operating procedures and Indiana Gaming Commission regulations. Safeguards Company assets located in the assigned work area with emphasis on guest service, monitoring dealer performance and game protection.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
When acting as a Table Games Supervisor include the following:
Directly supervises dealers as well as the operation and conduct of any table games to which they are assigned.
Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of bankrolls.
Monitors all procedures governing the opening and closing of games and shift changes.
Supervises the performance of dealers to ensure efficient gaming operations during a shift.
Completes customer ratings necessary to track pertinent gaming data relevant to the patron’s gaming profiles.
Ensures that games are supplied with adequate and operable equipment.
Ensures that all Indiana Gaming Commission regulations, internal controls, Title 31 compliance and standard operating procedures are adhered to.
Promotes positive customer and employee relations, and is held accountable to ensure that the integrity of the game is protected at all times.
Must be knowledgeable of poker rankings.
Must be able to provide ‘hosting’ duties to Poker Room guests on a rotating basis. These duties will include: Greet players at the podium with a smile and a welcoming attitude, convey what poker games are available and at what limit, accurately add player’s names to the game lists and provide information about the requirements of the game, call names of waiting players when seats become available, and coordinate with floor supervisors to ensure players are seated properly in requested games. When directed by a supervisor, announce new games and call names of players waiting for such, properly answer the telephone, provide information to callers, record messages accurately and pass them on to the appropriate party, transfer calls to appropriate personnel as determined by customer’s needs, ‘fill’ tables when instructed.
Specific to Craps, the Table Games Supervisor sitting box is directly responsible for notifying the Table Games Supervisor standing floor at the craps game about the accuracy of pay-offs, currency changes, color changes, betting minimums and maximums and the regulations, internal controls and standard operating procedures are being adhered to by the dealers that are assigned to the game.
As part of insuring the integrity of the game, will monitor that the dealers verbally announce (book) all wagers on the game not placed by the players.
Verifies the accuracy of the currency to gaming chips conversions.
Inspects gaming equipment in use.
Notifies Table Games Management of any and all irregularities or suspicious activity on the game.
Monitors compliance of all approved policies and procedures and reports deviations to Table Games Management if observed.
Authorized to issue comps in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
Other duties as assigned.
For scheduled shifts in the dual rated position of Dealer, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will be consistent with those in the job description for the respective position. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals and internal controls. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical theory.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess intermediate PC skills. Microsoft Office experience required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1-2 years as a multiple game dealer or related supervisory experience in table games.
