- Will assist with month end closing, financial analysis, financial reporting, account reconciliation, journal entry creation, and assistance with budgets.
- Should have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
- Possess a strong energetic work ethic and attention to detail, keen analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Beneficial experience would include month end closing, financial analysis, financial reporting, account reconciliation, consolidation, and eliminations and preparation and tracking of departmental and property-wide budgeting process.

LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from guests and other employees of the Company in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to become familiar with a variety of departments’ concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to perform with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Microsoft Office experience required. Will utilize Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. JD Edwards experience is preferred.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Candidate must obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming license.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No direct reports. Must be able to work independently with a variety of departments to successfully accomplish goals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred. Also at least one year of experience in public and/or corporate accounting is preferred.
