Title:  Warehouse Receiver

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for receiving, checking and stocking all materials received for the company

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unload, receive, inspect, and document all incoming deliveries to the property
• Delivery packages/orders to specified departments
• Verify contents of shipments against packing slips and purchase orders (POs)
•  Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to operate electric pallet jack and forklift safely and efficiently
• Proficient in using inventory management software or computer systems
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documentation
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the staff
• Ability to write and present information to management in a clear and reasonable manner
• Ability to perform normal mathematical computations regarding the implementation of current duties
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior warehouse experience a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• The employee may be required to lift an excess of 75 pounds.
• The employee may be asked to stand for extended periods of time or in extreme temperatures.
• The work environment consists of very non-demanding surroundings with a moderate to high level of noise.
