JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the direct supervision and support of the technical HHR operation for the property. Responsible for all aspects of daily management of HHR operations including but not limited to general maintenance repair, conversions, installs and game moves. The analysis of gaming reports to optimize the performances of gaming equipment and the daily repair and maintenance of all HHR machines, the gaming systems, and any related equipment on the gaming floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts processes for the hiring, training, development, and efficient management of the gaming technician staff.
- Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments as well as trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned staff.
- Maintains department standards, guidelines, and objectives, and oversees other administrative processes, such as staffing and payroll.
- Responsible for the daily technical activity, repair, and maintenance of all HHR machines, and related equipment and staff on the gaming floor.
- Audits and analyzes daily performance and revenue reports, machine exception reports and progressive reports.
- Ensures the HHR hold percentage and game performance is in alignment with budget requirements.
- Identifies and addresses mechanical and accounting related machine problems.
- Maintains all necessary paperwork and documentation regarding all HHR machine activity, maintenance, repairs, and inventory control. Coordinates any HHR machine activity on the gaming floor with supporting departments and the Virginia Racing Commission (VRC) as needed.
- Interacts with supporting departments to maintain the overall floor operation according to established department, company and state gaming policies and procedures.
- Reports activity daily and coordinates with other departments/properties; including guest activity and proactive repairs and maintenance, HHR moves, diagnostics and any unusual activity.
- Analyzes gaming reports to evaluate and optimize performances of gaming equipment and recommend changes as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.
- With General Manager and Shared Services oversight, establishes department standards, guidelines, and objectives.
- Protects company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance including internal controls policies and procedures, Title 31, and any other policy and procedure required by the company.
- Reviews the work activities of subordinate Team Members to ensure that work is being performed within the standards established by management.
- Maintains meticulous security of keys, radios, handheld devices, and any other devices issued.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four (4) years of progressive experience as an HHR Technician Supervisor or a minimum of one year of experience as an HHR Performance Manager in a high volume, complex gaming environment, required.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

- The Team Member will be required to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.

- The Team Member may be required to lift up to 50 pounds to include maneuvering up to 80 pounds.
- The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
