JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for monitoring performance of electronic gaming devices, activity, and conditions of gaming areas, ensuring all HHR machines are operable and in good repair.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates #AddLife culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.

 

  1. Responsible for fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.

 

  1. Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.

 

  1. Ensures compliance with approved procedures for the HHR areas in a professional manner.

 

  1. Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines.

 

  1. Repairs and modifies components, electric systems and peripherals of the gaming machines and kiosks.

 

  1. Configures HHR machines to meet manufacturers’ and regulatory agency specifications.

 

  1. Removes, moves, installs and/or upgrades HHR machines.

 

  1. Maintains an inventory of parts for the HHR machines.

 

  1. Monitors and tracks the HHR machine malfunctions, the cause, the repair, and the parts involved.

 

  1. Tracks and records all test money usage and testing results.

 

  1. Protects company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance to include Internal Controls Policies and Procedures and the Responsible Gaming Plan.

 

  1. Notifies shift supervisor of irregularities in customers’ play.

 

  1. Maintains a clean and safe environment. Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of word processors and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years’ experience as an HHR Technician/Bench Technician with A+ Certification preferred.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The Team Member will be required to stand and walk the duration of the shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The Team Member may be required to lift up to 50 pounds to include maneuvering up to 80 pounds.
  • The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, flashing lightes, and secondhand smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
