JOB SUMMARY
The role of the Marketing Supervisor is to assist and support in all aspects of marketing, with an emphasis on promotions, events and customer service at Oxford Casino.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises the execution of events and promotions within the facility to meet revenue goals and provide the highest quality of guest service
- Oversees on- and off-site promotions and special events including support of emcee drawings, purchase of promotional items, giveaways, etc.
- Facilitates and sets up promotional games, such as kiosks and drawings, and addresses event needs with other departments within the facility
- Executes all self-exclusion and banned player notices ensuring that expirations are accurate, and all contact data has been removed from self-excluded and banned player accounts.
- Audits account of newly hired and/or terminated team members who may be in the player database.
- Performs upkeeps on player database, correcting errors if necessary.
- Develops and produces creative collateral, such as social media content, email marketing, and direct mail, in accordance with time and budget guidelines.
- Proofing direct mail samples ensuring that data is accurate.
- Manages and conducts casino promotions.
- Manages Bird-eye and responds to all internet reviews and comments and online inquiries in conjunction with other Marketing staff to maintain contact with guests.
- Manages company profiles on Google, Trip Advisor, Yelp, and other online review sites.
- Manages the property website ensuring that all information is relevant, accurate, and up to date.
- Manages and produces property internal communication by working with other departments to provide promotional support and meet collateral needs according to brand standards. This includes a weekly newsletter, monthly promotions binders for departments, and KPI communications.
- Generates, logs, and manages charity and community outreach programs. Acts as liaison and represents property during community and charity events.
- Participates in the review and approval process of all Marketing material by designing and proofreading for content (i.e., spelling and grammar) and correct images.
- Assists with the coordination of on-site events, including the use of decor and catering as well as all matters regarding filming and photography (i.e., media release forms).
- Produces collateral for Casino Hosts’ guest communications.
- Produces and manages all charity, community relations scheduling, planning, and creative needs, along with the Everi Cares Module.
- Acts as company representative on the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent guest service
- Excellent verbal/written communication as well as interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of market developments, strategies, and practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or similar field preferred
- Two to three years of previous marketing experience required
- Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable
