The position is located in Oxford, Maine. A revenue auditor performs the function and duties such as collection, verification and reconciliation of paperwork, logs, reports and checklists as needed for minimum requirements in a confidential, safe, compliant and timely manner. |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately and with attention to detail, collect, verify and reconcile revenue figures using paperwork and reports. Complete all necessary forms and checklists and exception reports.
- Communicate with team members, supervisor and attending departments any issues.
- Listen and follow procedures and directions, including job safety rules and regulations as well as compliance with State of Maine Gaming Regulations, Oxford Casino Internal Controls and security procedures.
- Follow procedures and directions, including job safety rules and regulations as well as compliance with NH Lottery, Chasers Internal Controls and security procedures.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members and management. Must maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Self-Motivator with problem solving and resolution skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Knowledge of auditing business processes and financial statements, including tests of controls, tests of details, and sampling methods
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications and other computer applications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of experience in a financial setting
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- The employee will be required to sit for extended periods of time.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also be required to stand; walk; use hands to key, reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- The employee may be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- The employee is required to work weekends and holidays.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
- There is a need for close visual acuity to prepare data and figures, view a computer terminal and operate machinery.
