Title:  Hotel Night Auditor

JOB SUMMARY

The Night Auditor provides exceptional guest service throughout the entire guest experience, from making reservations and answering questions to check-in and check-out. This position manages guest reservations, processes payments, answers incoming calls, provides information about the hotel and surrounding area, and promotes amenities, dining and promotions. The role serves as a key point of contact for guests during the overnight hours and is responsible for creating a welcoming, friendly, and positive experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs Audit nightly for Hotel
• Reconciles all gest folios, identifies and fixes errors
• Answers incoming phone calls; operates telephone system to receive incoming messages and records guest messages and relays them to the appropriate parties
• Manage online, phone and in person reservations, including creating reservations and editing reservations
• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks, including collecting necessary information, including contact details and verifying payment methods
• Answers guest questions regarding facility and surrounding area
• Acts as a sales member for promotion of internal events, dining and packages

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent guest service skills; attentive and detail oriented
• Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with both guests and co-workers
• Must have basic math skills with the ability to accurately handle cash and process sales transactions
• Prior computer experience with Microsoft office and e-mail, point of sale system experience preferred
• Ability to create a positive and upbeat work environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year prior experience in a guest service capacity

• This is a sedentary position, and ergonomic workstation and frequent breaks will be provided.
