Title:  Dual Rate Slot Technician/Slot Attendant

JOB SUMMARY

Slot Technician - Monitors currency transactions and completes appropriate logs and reports pursuant to Title 31. Repairs minor machine malfunctions. Observe slot play for illegal machine tampering/abuse. Provides customer service. Maintains the inventory, check in sheets, and reconciling of their assigned bank when in operation.  Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.

Slot Attendant - Performs jackpot payouts. Conducts minor machine repairs. Walks the gaming floor looking for guests who need service. Responds to slot machines in a timely manner to resolve guest issues. Keeps casino floor clean of cups and pushes in chairs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Slot Attendant: 

1. Approves slot payouts within limits per submitted System of Internal Controls 
2. Complies with regulatory agencies                                    
3. Performs minor machine repairs on all slot machines on property
4. Continuously walks their assigned areas looking for guests who need service
5. Provide courteous and prompt change, jackpot, and minor machine repair service
6. Responds to slot machines in a timely manner to resolve guest problems with slot machines
7. Notifies Slot Shift Supervisor of any issues, as needed
8. Maintains slot floor security by notifying Slot Shift Supervisor of any suspicious activity
9. Maintains working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and regulations as well as company internal controls
10. Participates in slot department special projects in a team environment upon request
11. Observes slot play for illegal machine tampering/abuse 
12. Maintains a working knowledge of all games in order to perform minor machine repairs and/or explain game play to guests
13. Must possess knowledge of player tracking system 
14. Delivers Excellent Customer Service
15. Keep casino floor clean of cups, and push in chairs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous Slot Tech or electronic related experience preferred but not needed
• Team Player with the capability to learn both on their own and with supervision i.e.: Study Machine Manuals, Internal Controls, and Par Sheets
• Heavy lifting required; Ability to pick up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; Electronics experience and/or degree preferred but not needed
• Is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming license through the state of Maine

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Heavy lifting sometimes required; Ability to pick up to 50 lbs. At other times, the work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing and walking and climbing; recurring bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting, or similar activities. The work environment is one with possible exposure to prolonged loud noise.

SALARY RANGE

$7.55- $19.00
