Title:  Warehouse Receiver

JOB SUMMARY

Owensboro Racing & Gaming is searching for a high-energy, detail-loving Receiving Attendant to be part of our fast-paced Warehouse & Logistics team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and inspect all incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders and packing lists.

• Promptly document and report any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Accurately label and store items to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

• Assist with inventory management, including system updates for stock levels and item locations.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace by following all safety procedures.

• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Participate in routine inventory counts and audits.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

• Ability to work independently while supporting team goals.

• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory tracking.

• Effective communication and organizational skills.

• Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures.

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

• You must be 21 years of age or older to apply for this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.

• Forklift certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

• Use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

• Indoor warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

• Must be able to safely navigate a busy and active workspace.
