JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of the gaming facility to ensure a safe, functional, and visually appealing environment for guests and team members. This role includes maintaining equipment, performing routine inspections, responding to repair requests, and ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with safety and operational standards.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.

· Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, systems, and structures within the facility.

· Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns and extend the life of assets.

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests from other departments.

· Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with company, safety, and regulatory standards.

· Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.

· Inspect the facility regularly to identify potential safety or maintenance issues.

· Assist with facility projects, including installations, renovations, and improvements.

· Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained and kept in a safe, organized condition.

· Coordinate with vendors for repairs and parts replacement when necessary.

· Respond to emergency maintenance issues as required.

· Support special events by setting up and breaking down equipment as needed.

· Assist with snow and ice removal or other exterior maintenance duties as required.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience preferred, ideally in a gaming or hospitality environment.

· Familiarity with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.

· Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

The employee is regularly required to stand, speak, hear, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to sit. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color and depth perception, and peripheral vision. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. When working in the office, the noise level is moderately quiet. When on the gaming floor, the noise level may be loud, and the employee will possibly be exposed to cigarette smoke on the gaming floor.
