Title:  Count Team Attendant

JOB SUMMARY

The Count Team Attendant is responsible for participating in the collection and counting of gaming device drop boxes and currency in accordance with established internal controls. This position ensures the integrity and accuracy of the facility’s drop and count processes while maintaining a high standard of safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adheres to company policies and procedures for drop and count operations.

• Collects and transports drop boxes from Historical Racing Machines (HRMs) to secured areas.

• Safeguards un-audited assets in storage carts prior to counting.

• Opens HRM machine drop boxes and empties contents in a secure environment.

• Operates currency counting equipment to count money from drop boxes.

• Accurately records cash totals and paperwork on drop count sheets.

• Verifies strapped currency and prepares bundles as needed.

• Enters relevant data into the designated computer systems.

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the count room area.

• Conducts oneself in a professional manner, promoting a positive work environment.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.

• Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.

• Capable of working with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

• Maintains high levels of confidentiality and integrity.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior experience in a count room or cash handling environment preferred.

• Previous gaming industry experience a plus.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Requires standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand motion for extended periods.

• Work is performed in a secure, surveillance-monitored, and controlled environment.

• Exposure to high noise levels and handling of currency in confined spaces.
