SUMMARY
Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a new facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
FUNCTION
The Security Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all patrons, employees and company assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
- Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
- Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
- Development of staff, evaluating and training by designing training programs.
- Assist with interviewing and selection.
- Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
- Meet with Directors and Managers as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.
- Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced customer service and problem solving skills.
- Interact with local law enforcement agencies as required.
- Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and regulations as well as company internal controls, policies and procedure.
- Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of shift.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years previous security, law enforcement and or casino/hotel security experience.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
