Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
JOB SUMMARY
The Count Room Manager will be responsible for assuring the efficient and smooth operation of the drop process and count room in accordance with gaming regulations and accounting procedures. #OakGrove
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for efficient overall operation of the drop and count room and Team Members. Manage processes and programs to effectively control and reduce lost time to injuries.
- Develop and maintain Count Room procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Completion of count reports, paperwork, and security of information within.
- Assure compliance of internal controls for all accounting and cash handling.
- Review staffing levels to maintain the budgeted level of employment. Delegate duties, schedule workdays, and assign responsibilities.
- Maintaining required documentation for count room, maintenance and repair logs for count machine(s), along with purchase orders and requisitions for count room equipment and supplies.
- Responsible for reviewing count machine reports for malfunctions or other problems and implementing appropriate maintenance and repair lists.
- Develop existing staff, interview, hire, and train new employees. Annually prepare evaluations for the Count Room department.
- Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Work with Gaming, Security, and Surveillance on drop schedule and floor route.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Management abilities demonstrated in effectively managing the count room.
- Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the count room.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years’ experience in casino finance or banking
- 1 year of experience with a currency counting machine preferred
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky racing & Sports Book license.
