Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
JOB SUMMARY
The F&B Lead is responsible for ensuring that all guests are provided a memorable experience in our Food Outlets and Beverage Bars. The F&B Lead will assist in ensuring the areas are staffed and ready for business. They are to follow the directions and tasks given by the Food/Beverage Manager. The Lead(s) will serve as the main trainer within an area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly supervises team members in a food or beverage role (servers, bar backs, bartenders, cashiers, etc.)
• Delegates duties and assign responsibilities to team members in food and beverage roles
• Ensures the area assigned to them is staffed properly, otherwise will report to that area to work in that specific area or jump in several areas to support our team members where necessary
• Ensure all cleanliness standards are being met and followed
• Ensures team members are performing duties as instructed
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests .
• Responsible to perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
• Responsible for training other team members within the assigned areas
• Assisting the Food/Beverage Supervisors with Daily Tasks and Shift Management when necessary
• Act as a department champion, promoting the department’s and company services and functions to other employees, departments, vendors, applicants and others who visit the department and property
• Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of all bar equipment and micros cash registers.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure demands.
• Available to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
