Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
JOB SUMMARY
The Beverage Server is responsible for serving in an excellent and timely manner and ensuring quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience. #OakGrove
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for taking orders from patrons and returning these orders in a timely manner.
- Keep the area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Responsible for performing “responsible alcohol service” with regard to patron limitations and passing any/all responsible alcohol service training.
- Be able to use all bar equipment, cash registers, and Berg Beverage System.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months of prior work experience as a cocktail server is preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
