Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
JOB SUMMARY
The Bartender is responsible for providing the patrons with excellent service in a timely manner and assisting the beverage servers with orders to assure quality guest service and provide patrons with a favorable gaming experience. #OakGrove
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepares drinks correctly at the bar for patrons and for cocktail staff.
- Assisting with the cleaning of the bar area and assisting with inventory maintenance.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests .
- Responsible for performing “responsible alcohol service” with regard to patron limitations and passing any/all responsible alcohol service training.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash registers, and Berg beverage system.
- Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure demands.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
