We are a premiere entertainment venue presenting thoroughbred & exotic animal races, slots, video poker and simulcasting year-round. Located in New Orleans, Fair Grounds operates a slot-machine gaming facility and 13 off-track betting parlors throughout southeast Louisiana.
JOB SUMMARY
Manages the daily activities associated with video poker and slots machine operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Diagnose system problems effectively to maximize system utilization for operations.
- Support management in development of computerized system solutions to business opportunities and/or enhancing guest service.
- Maintain list of authorized users and application passwords.
- Monitor slot activities for adherence to Company policies and various gaming regulatory requirements
- Maintain working relationships with outside vendors and system support personnel.
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Slots Technicians
- Control the daily activities associated with the operation and support of the Slot systems.
- Monitor system utilization, system maintenance, and report analysis. Ensure that service and availability levels are maintained.
- Perform preventative maintenance on slot machines on a scheduled basis
- Perform related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to obtain a Louisiana Racing Commission License and Louisiana Gaming License.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) and Licenses; or
- Equivalent experience; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
