Title:  Lead Engineer Non Ex

JOB SUMMARY

Mechanical engineers provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and products, ranging from small component designs to extremely large plant, machinery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing work schedules for engineering team.
• Processing departmental invoices in Ariba.
• Coordinating vendor assignments and working directly with vendors on special projects when needed.
• Managing work orders in Brightly and providing follow-up.
• Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability.
• Developing a project specification with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines.
• Developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs.
• Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers.
• Making sure a product can be made reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments.
• Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques.
• Planning and designing new production processes.
• Producing details of specifications and outline designs.
• Performing other related duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be 21 years or older. Must have Engineer state certification number by the board of Engineers. Must have a Valid Driver’s License

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Engineer degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff. Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner. Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
