We are a premiere entertainment venue presenting thoroughbred & exotic animal races, slots, video poker and simulcasting year-round. Located in New Orleans, Fair Grounds operates a slot-machine gaming facility and 15 off-track betting parlors throughout southeast Louisiana.

JOB SUMMARY

Ensure compliance with BSA rules and regulatory requirements of the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with large amounts of data in a centralized software environment, aggregate transactions, and file Currency Transaction Reports.
  • Identify, investigate, track, and report potentially suspicious financial transactions and behaviors.
  • Assist the department head with administering  compliance orientation or training team members. .
  • Track and manage property submissions to regulators to ensure timely submissions.
  • Work in partnership with the department head as a liaison to regulators and governmental agencies.
  • Conduct other monthly audits as assigned. Some travel may be required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be 21 years or older. Must be able to obtain a Gaming and Racing License from Louisiana Racing Commission

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Strong customer services skills required. Must be able to work efficiently with various software components including, but not limited to, Excel, Adobe, and MS Word. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations, professional communications and large amounts of data. Ability to respond to inquiries or concerns from team members, regulatory agencies or guests. Ability to write and present information in a professional manner consistent with the audience. . Ability to perform mathematical computations. Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency in a deadline driven environment.

Will occasionally work in extreme heat or cold conditions.
