JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for procurement of goods and services in addition to ongoing category management and supplier performance management that requires a moderate degree of experience, knowledge, and professionalism. Responsible for a spend portfolio of goods and services required for successful operations. Activities include creating spend analysis, RFI/RFP/RFQ cycles, supplier negotiations, trade and professional/personal services contracting and driving supplier performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for achieving financial objectives established by the Director of Purchasing.
• Responsible for reviewing Purchase Requests for accuracy.
• Responsible for obtaining and reviewing bids for price, quantity and delivery.
• Responsible for contacting suppliers and expediting delivery of materials.
• Responsible for clarifying needs with internal departments.
• Responsible for expediting deliveries of goods and where necessary, get the department approval for alternate methods or materials.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the inventory / purchasing system.
• Responsible for keeping departments advised with respect to lead-time on critical material or affected products.
• Responsible for setting up suppliers and items in the purchasing system to expedite order placement. 
• Maintains good company image and supplier relations through daily supplier contact.
• Performs quality assurance inspections when appropriate.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.          
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to deal with both guests and fellow team members in a professional and courteous manner, promoting positive customer relations for all by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have a high school diploma and at least one (1) year of purchasing experience. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Must obtain valid racing license.
• May be required to hold a valid driver’s license with a minimum of three (3) years’ driving experience.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• The Team Member is subjected to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
• The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
