JOB SUMMARY

Calder Casino is an energetic and growing organization devoted to creating Winning Experiences for our guests and Team Members. We have an exciting job opportunity for a Slot Performance Supervisor who will be responsible for supporting the successful operation of our gaming machines. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, preferably in the gaming industry. The Slot Performance Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation and performance of all EGMs on the gaming floor through the effective supervision of Slot Technician staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Slot Performance Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation and performance of all EGM’s on the gaming floor through the effective supervision of Slot Technician staff.

  • Maintains required documentation of slot moves/adds/retires, maintenance and repair logs.
  • Training of Slot Technicians and occasional assistance in troubleshooting various slot machine malfunctions.  Delegate authority and assign responsibilities to individual team members.
  • Responsible for reviewing reports and statistical data for malfunctions or other problems and implementing appropriate maintenance and repair lists.
  • Development of staff, interviews, hiring, and evaluations.
  • Review department’s activities with Slot Technical Manager
  • Meet with Departmental Directors and managers as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Slot technical staff.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
  • Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oasis Slot System.

 

METHODS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Accountable for the display and performance of slot equipment.  Maintaining strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Through various oral and written reports to the Slot Performance Manager.
  • Through achievement of performance goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, game machines, or slot machines preferred with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
