JOB SUMMARY

Calder Casino is a fun place to work! As an Executive Casino Host, you are in the middle of all the excitement, welcoming new and existing guests to our club and maintaining them informed of all the promotions, events, and exciting happenings at Calder. From making phone calls, to sending out invites, and greeting people on the casino floor, you are the go to person for our guests and VIPs. Ensuring you can keep up with all the activities will be key to your success in this role. It is all about creating memorable experiences for all our guests. We are ready for you at Bigger. Better. Calder. The Executive Casino Host is responsible for developing and coordinating programs to attract VIP players and host such guests to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits. Work requires superior communication and judgmental skills, as position is called upon to interact frequently with VIP guests, and make decisions regarding the issuance of complimentary items. The Executive Casino Host will be expected to exemplify the company mission of providing an exciting environment and superior guest service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests
• Greets guests approaching service area
• Responsible for preparing and selling all food items on the menu and handling all cash transactions.
• Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of all food service equipment used to prepare and serve the menu items.
• Must be able to operate all equipment in the stand.
• Maintain current knowledge of daily menus and prices
• Ensure proper stock of product and supplies needed for service
• Responsible for opening and closing inventories.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
• Standing 8-10 Hours
• Other duties assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of concession stand operations.
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
• All internal and external guests must be treated in a manner to ensure complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guests’ expectations
• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s Service Standards
• Able to interact with internal and external guests in a friendly/fast manner.
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to work in fast-paced environmen
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure situations in an interruptive environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent. 
• One-year concession experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
