JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Treasury is responsible for leading all aspects of Treasury Operations, including debt management, banking relationships, cash management, and merchant processing. This role reports to the Vice President of FP&A and Treasury and plays a key role in planning and operational execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required (basic accounting experience preferred)
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
- 13+ years of Treasury or related experience with CDI
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a plus
- Strong work ethic; highly reliable and accountable
- Ability to set goals, manage timetables, and meet competing deadlines
- Extensive knowledge of banking products, documentation, and regulations
- Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and operational focus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
LEADERSHIP AND OVERSIGHT
- Provide oversight and guidance to the Treasury Director and Treasury Manager
- Support the Treasurer with strategic projects and analyses related to capital structure, working capital, share repurchase programs, mergers and acquisitions, and other high-priority initiatives
- Foster a culture of high performance and accountability within the Treasury team and emphasize a strong service-oriented mindset toward internal stakeholders who depend on their support
DEBT MANAGEMENT AND CAPITAL STRUCTURE
- Support senior management in the issuance and implementation of new debt instruments
- Prepare and distribute the quarterly compliance certificate, including all supporting documentation and calculations
- Manage the debt calendar to ensure timely and accurate payment of principal and interest, as well as fulfillment of mandated deliverables
- Collaborate with FP&A to prepare and maintain interest forecasts and accruals
- Oversee and manage the company’s inventory of letters of credit
CASH MANAGEMENT AND FORECASTING
- Calculate the daily cash position and maintain a short-term cash forecast
- Make informed borrowing recommendations based on liquidity and operating needs
- Coordinate, validate, and execute cash settlements for large corporate transactions, including debt issuances and acquisition settlements
BANKING RELATIONSHIPS AND TREASURY OPERATIONS
- Partner with the Vice President of FP&A and Treasury to manage and optimize all corporate banking relationships
- Monitor and manage bank fees through regular oversight and periodic negotiations
- Prepare the annual bank fee budget; track and explain variances
- Approve routine wire transfer and ACH disbursements
- Approve journal entries for NIGL and those prepared by the Treasury Director and Treasury Manager
- Serve as administrator for all banking and merchant processing portals
- Evaluate and provide guidance on potential new banking products and services
MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS AND BUSINESS INTEGRATIONS
- Support due diligence efforts for potential acquisition targets
- Coordinate the integration of treasury and merchant processing operations for newly acquired or internally developed business lines
MERCHANT PROCESSING OVERSIGHT
- Lead the company’s merchant processing activities, including negotiation and evaluation of contracts, implementation of services, and resolution of issues
- Acts as liaison between IT and processors to identify issues and resolution
- Support and coordinate PCI compliance across all merchant processing platforms
COMPLIANCE, LEGAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
- Work with Legal and Compliance to provide required treasury-related data for licensing applications and renewals
