JOB SUMMARY
The Revenue Auditor compiles and audits revenue, records and control documents. Prepares reports for all areas of the gaming operation and supports the property Finance and purchasing functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for preparing daily audits, including the distribution of daily operating reports.
- Auditing and accounting for all control documents, investigating unusual occurrences, and preparing exception reports for all errors.
- Reviewing, compiling, and reporting taxable earnings information, including ensuring proper authorization of all transactions.
- Reviewing and preparing journal entry support on a daily basis to ensure accuracy.
- Conducting monthly inventory processes
- Assisting with the receiving process by reviewing and uploading order data into the system.
- Reviewing PO reports to ensure clean entries for purchases.
- Supporting Finance/Accounting by performing regular and ad hoc journal entries, reports, and operations/financial analysis.
- Performing related duties and projects as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of Revenue Audit.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two years of accounting experience or two years of formal accounting education is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
