JOB SUMMARY

In this exciting position, you will play a key role in managing various aspects of corporate simulcast processes for our racing operations across domestic and international markets. Working closely with the Sr. Director and SVP of Content, you will support in the purchase, sales, distribution and promotion of pari-mutuel wagering content, working closely with both owned-and-operated racing properties and third-party clients.

•    Support simulcast wagering sales, distribution and promotion
•    Must be able to plan effectively and work independently with a high level of initiative
•    Excellent time management skills 
•    Detailed project planning and execution
•    Ability to maintain project goals and communicate processes as needed
•    Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and precision
•    Ability to recognize client relationship differences and manage accordingly
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel 
•    Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels 
•    Effective organizational and analytical skills with an eye for process creation and improvement
•    Experience using internal and external reporting systems to organize and analyze data for decision making purposes
•    Experience creating and maintaining work process systems

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate management of the purchase, sale, distribution and promotion of pari-mutuel wagering content to all domestic and international wagering outlets
  • Analyzes, administers, and manages simulcast pari-mutuel agreements across all properties
  • Interacts and coordinates with owned-and-operated racing properties and third-party clients on simulcast operations and general oversight of the simulcast network
  • Maintains knowledge of delinquent money room and host fee settlement collections to assist Corporate Finance as needed
  • Work with settlement department on international invoices
  • Establishes and preserves relationships to provide support to all CDI entities and third-party simulcast partner tracks (domestic and international)
  • Supports the oversight and enforcement of simulcast wagering integrity and security policies
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting for track performance across CDI properties using data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Coordinates functions relating to purchase, sale and distribution of select international racing product
  • Communicates with other departments to collect pertinent race information for promotion of race events and wagering opportunities
  • Adheres to a flexible schedule that may include working hours outside of normal office operations (keeping up to date with and able to react to weekend correspondences; working weekends during Derby and other peak seasons)
  • Creates and maintains marketing materials (calendars, race meet information, etc.) for simulcast operations
  • Stays up-to-date with horseracing news and provides updates as appropriate
  • Manages contract archive and executes storage of sensitive information
  • Other duties may be assigned.
