Churchill Downs Racetrack (“CDRT”), the world’s most legendary racetrack, has been the home of The Kentucky Derby, the longest continually held annual sporting event in the United States, since 1875. Located in Louisville, CDRT features a series of themed race days during Derby Week, including the Kentucky Oaks, and conducts Thoroughbred horse racing during three race meets in the Spring, September and Fall. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing throughout the facility including hallways and other public areas.
- Ensures all rooms are cared for and inspected according to company standards
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Protect equipment and notify any damages to supervisor
- Sweeps and clean chairs in all elevated public seating areas.
- Collects and removes trash throughout interior and exterior public grounds and seating areas.
- Operates electric, propane or gasoline powered equipment including power washing duties of grounds/building
- Will be required to participate in and complete monthly safety training and pass associated quizzes on time
- Be aware of rules regarding health and safety and best company related practices
- Must be able to work the racing schedule, typically Wednesday thru Sunday, which will include some evenings during the calendar year

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- G.E.D. or High school diploma; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also be required to stand: walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- The employee may be asked to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
- The employee may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
