JOB SUMMARY

The Gaming Performance Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of the technical side of the department.  Verifies and maintains consistency in the compliance of state laws, regulations and company internal policies and procedures with regard to the movement and maintenance of gaming terminals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining required documentation of game moves, maintenance and repair logs, and purchase orders and requisitions for game machine parts and supplies.
  • Training of game/gaming lead technicians and technicians and occasional assistance in troubleshooting various gaming terminal malfunctions.  Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
  • Responsible for reviewing reports and statistical data for malfunctions or other problems and implementing appropriate maintenance and repair lists.
  • Development of staff, interviews, hiring, and evaluations.
  • Review department’s financial data and activities with the Senior Director of Gaming Operations.
  • Meet with Departmental Directors and managers as necessary.                                                                                                                                       

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Games technical department.
  • Scheduling, PTO, timekeeping, and record keeping on all Team Members.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
  • Role model code of ethics: Respect, Commitment and Guest Service.
  • Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations.
  • Oral and written communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Five to seven years’ experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, game machines, with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
