JOB SUMMARY

The Facilities Intern will assist the Churchill Downs Sr. Director of Facilities in the analysis, compliance, reporting and scrubbing of the Facilities CMMS [Computerized Maintenance Management System] for all CDI properties.  This is a chance for the right student or recent graduate to apply their knowledge and gain valuable Facilities experience for one of the most recognized brands in the world.  One position is available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop reporting to identify missing, incomplete and/or incorrect information in the existing CMMS data.
  • Analyze report findings to allow data corrections
  • Assist with KPI [Key Performance Indicators] review and refinement
  • Assist with CMMS PM setup for portfolio properties
  • Assist with document formatting and uploading into the CMMS
  • Attend individual property calls to review their compliance with CMMS entries
  • Work with the CMMS analytics module to identify and develop reports that can be shared with the properties
  • Assist with identifying and uploading assets into the CMMS
  • Review vendor Service Contracts for each property and confirm status/missing contracts
  • Support business goals and objectives with the identification of missing/late PM work orders
  • Special projects and additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Working towards or recently obtained a degree in Facilities Management/Analytics at an accredited university or college
  • Must be proficient in MS Office and the use of tablet-based applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required
  • Must have attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Must react with a positive attitude and productively handle tasks as assigned
  • Must be able to work independently, exercising effective judgment and initiative
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS is a plus
