JOB SUMMARY
The Cage & Player Services Cashier is responsible for the redemption of Gaming & Sports wagering tickets/vouchers, performing Check Cashing/Cash Advance transactions for guests, and assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience. Cage Cashiers will also assist guests with purchasing merchandise from the on-site company retail store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets and interacts with guests.
- Responsible for cashing guests out, giving correct change, and answering guest questions in a courteous and professional manner.
- Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift.
- Assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
- Keeping cash drawer balanced and impressed. Making exchanges with vault.
- Responsible for accurate balancing and oversight of sports wagering funds.
- Verify and document personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.
- Completing CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs.
- Responsible for guest relations. Consults with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
- Answers guest questions regarding merchandise. Assists guests with merchandise purchasing decisions.
- Collects merchandise payment using the store point of sale system. Processing company store merchandise returns and exchanges.
- Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations and places special orders.
- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and Guests.
- Follow all regulatory/administrative and company regulations and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Excellent guest service abilities.
- Excellent sales and guest service skills.
- Black shoes required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Six months cashiering or banking experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
