JOB SUMMARY
The Beverage Server is responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an excellent and timely manner and to assure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for taking orders from guests and returning these orders in a timely manner.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to guest limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
- Handling all transactions according to the cash handling policy.
- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests.
- Be able to use all bar equipment and BERG Beverage System as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Maintaining positive and productive relationships among all Team Members and guests.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 6 months of work experience in serving is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License
- Ability to obtain a TIPS certification
