JOB SUMMARY
A Slot Shift Manager in a casino oversees the daily operations of the slot machine area, ensuring smooth and efficient service while maintaining compliance with regulations and promoting a positive guest experience. They supervise slot attendants, address customer concerns, and monitor machine performance. They may also be involved in hiring, training, and performance management of staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directing, training, and evaluating the performance of slot attendants.
Ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all casino guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Maintaining adherence to all relevant gaming regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
Monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs.
Ensuring the security of slot machines, cash handling procedures, and the overall integrity of the slot floor.
Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, and motivating staff.
Effectively communicating with staff, management, and guests to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.
Managing the slot floor operations during their assigned shift, including staff scheduling and resource allocation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Verifying and processing jackpot payouts.
