JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the casino. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing gaming floors, restrooms, and public areas, replenishing supplies, removing waste, and addressing spills promptly. They operate cleaning equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and provide courteous assistance to guests. EVS Attendants also support event setups and notify management of maintenance or safety issues. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to upholding high cleanliness standards. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining Casino Floor: Sweep, mop, and vacuum casino areas, including gaming floors, walkways, and restrooms.

• Dusting and Polishing: Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and gaming equipment.

• Sanitizing Surfaces: Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, and gaming machines.

• Waste Removal: Empty trash cans and ensure proper disposal of waste in designated areas.

• Stocking Supplies: Refill restroom supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.

• Assisting Guests: Provide courteous assistance to casino guests, such as giving directions or addressing minor concerns.

• Responding to Requests: Quickly respond to calls for specific cleaning needs or spills.

• Adhering to Safety Protocols: Follow established safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Reporting Issues: Notify supervisors of maintenance issues, damage, or hazards in the environment.

• Detail Cleaning: Perform detailed cleaning tasks as assigned, such as cleaning vents, windows, or carpets.
• Flexibility: Take on additional responsibilities as requested by management, such as inventory checks or emergency cleanup tasks.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Cleaning Proficiency: Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.

• Equipment Operation: Ability to operate cleaning machines such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet extractors.
