JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for handling slot and table games drops ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the MGC and property policies, procedures and controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the integrity of all soft count transactions.
  • Assists in table games drops, as well as slot drops
  • Counts money and reconciles counts with appropriate departments.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies or members of the staff. Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner. Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.   

Applicant must be able to acquire a Mississippi Gaming Permit. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

Money handling experience a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Office/Casino environment; Must be able to tolerate casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise levels and stress related to serving customers in a high pressure fast paced environment.
