JOB SUMMARY

Run dirty china, glasses, cups and silverware to the dish room and bring back clean supplies to side stations and reset tables.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Remove dirty glasses, cups, silverware and china from tables and bring to dish room in a timely manner.
  • Restock dishes in appropriate area after they are cleaned.
  • Replenish all stock in side stations and on setup dining room before supplies run out. Maintain adequate supply of towels for use in the side stations.
  • Check storage and restock needed supplies from dry storage.
  • Fill Ice bins.
  • Notify manager on duty of stock items which are low and need to be ordered.
  • Keep storage areas, dish racks, floors and walls around dish racks clean at all times.
  • Always act in a professional manner which reflects positively on Harlow’s Casino.
  • Assist the team members in bussing tables.
  • Empty trash cans continually through the shift.
  • Take linens to laundry to be cleaned. Keep beer cooler stocked. 
  • Bring bread and water to tables when needed to assist servers.
  • Keep water pitchers filled.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Able to lift and carry heavy stock items up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to negotiate stairs.
  • Able to communicate sufficiently with co-workers and supervisors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

  • Previous runner experience.
  • Chemical awareness training including silverware soaking agents.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Constant wrist motion, sits, hear and eye/hand coordination; Frequently speak, read, write, stand, walk, bend and stoop. Occasionally lift, carry, push and pull. Must be able to continuously maneuver around property and office, often standing for long hours. The team member frequently is also required to stand, walk and reach with arms and hands, bend and have the ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Office/Casino environment; Must be able to tolerate casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise levels and stress related to serving customers in a high pressure fast paced environment.
