Title:  Host, Executive

JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Host builds and maintains relationships with targeted gaming customers. Additionally, the Executive Host is responsible for seeking potential future guests in the Market through existing relationships and outside sales efforts. Ensures proactive and on-going communication with target customers through outbound phone, face to face interactions, emails and letters. Sells and promotes property using pertinent and appropriate offers, property amenities, special events and promotions that drive property visits. The Executive Host offers complimentaries using established and approved guidelines, as well as good judgment. Leverages property amenities and marketing program to drive customer loyalty and revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extends complimentary items and services to our guests by analyzing a guest’s play that is within the established guidelines
• Recruits new high-level players through various marketing activities such as direct mailers, telemarketing, referrals, on-floor monitoring of play and off-site functions
• Attracts, develops and maintains relationships with target customers through the delivery of personalized service
• Greets and hosts target customers while on property; Arranges and assures execution of special services
• Ensures and promotes target customers have a player’s club card in use while on property
• Arranges for appropriate level of complementaries during visit
• Utilizes tools to document, track, and develop pipeline
• Appropriately resolves/deters customer complaints
• Manages the development and execution of special events both on and off-property that promote or stimulate revenue growth, including developing high potential worth customers unknown to the business
• Markets and fills promotional events, both hosted and gaming related
• Conducts phone marketing to target customers; Invites them to the property or to special events
• Collaborates with work-group and other support departments to ensure target customer satisfaction
• Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins
• Attains goals to meet company objectives
• Keeps informed of all promotions, special events, daily facility hours of operation and all other relevant guest information
• Develops relationships and partnerships with local vendors and establishments to increase VIP offerings within our community
• Performs other duties as assigned 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience (5 Years) required as a successful Host or Executive Host OR three (3) years experience in a Gaming Marketing Supervisory or Management position

• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain valid gaming/racing license, where applicable

• Excellent organizational, written and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent guest service
• Previous experience making sound business decisions using detailed player statistics
• Ability to promote teamwork, integrity, respect, and demonstrate collaboration
• Exemplary judgmental skills, especially when interacting with guests and making decisions to best serve them and ability to effectively resolve customer issues/complaints
• Knowledge of player management system, technical gaming products, and Microsoft Office preferred
• Willing to work flexible, odd and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• The employee may be required to lift items of various weights, ranging from 10 to 25lbs.
• The employee may be required to work in outside weather conditions.
• The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• The employee may be exposed to smoke when on the floor of the gaming room.
