JOB SUMMARY

Step into a leadership role on the casino floor! We’re looking for a dynamic Slot Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with confidence, and delivers top-tier guest service. In this role, you’ll oversee daily slot operations, support, and coach your team, handle guest interactions with professionalism, and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations—all while keeping the energy high and the experience seamless for every guest.

 

SUMMARY

Candidate is responsible for providing leadership and supervising slot operations on their shift while maintaining the highest standard of customer service, integrity, and confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES when acting as a Slot Supervisor.  Other duties may be assigned.

Candidate is responsible for enforcement of all company and departmental policies, service standards and PGCB regulations.

Candidate is responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels throughout shift and making adjustments as needed.

Candidate is responsible for handling customer complaints and disputes.

Candidate will complete the necessary paperwork associated with the daily functions of the slot department including, but not limited to, shift reports, ATE slips, and corrective actions.

Through company training candidate must be familiar with, and have a working knowledge of, the operations and paytables of the slot machines and self-serve sports wagering kiosks.

Candidate will monitor sportsbook video programing and make adjustments as necessary to maintain adequate sports coverage in sports wagering areas.

Candidate is responsible for ensuring that all jackpot transactions are completed accurately, jackpot slips and payment procedures are in compliance with departmental internal controls and are completed within a reasonable amount of time.

Candidate will help out on the casino floor with patron calls and questions when possible. 

When walking through aisle ways, Candidate should make sure all vacant, nonfixed slot seating is appropriate tucked in as close the slot machine as possible and aisle way is maintained. 

May issue a complimentary/promotional expense in accordance with the approved comp matrix.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES when acting as a Shift Manager.  Other duties may be assigned.

Candidate will have good computer skills, a flexible schedule and be well groomed.   

Candidate must have knowledge of all slot machines and self-serve sports wagering kiosks on the casino floor and be able to determine proper payouts. 

Candidate will monitor sportsbook video programing and make adjustments as necessary to maintain adequate sports coverage in sports wagering areas.

Candidate must survey and evaluate the casino floor in order to adjust staffing levels to better serve the patron.

Candidate will communicate with other department managers for situations that may arise and provide excellent customer service to patrons and any needs they may have.

Candidate will schedule training classes, issue memos, maintain payroll records for all department employees, provide pertinent information to Slot Technical Manager to pass down to the Technical Shift Supervisors and Technicians.

Candidate will complete all reports and projects delegated by the Manager of Slot Operations for projects that need completed and be readily available to all department employees for any situation that may arise.

Candidate is responsible for ensure that all jackpot transactions are completed accurately, jackpot slips and payment procedures are in compliance with departmental internal controls and are completed within a reasonable amount of time.

Candidate is responsible for ensuring that all department paperwork is completed correctly.  These include jackpot slips, appropriate tax documents, guest claim forms.  Candidate must ensure that all forms have the required signatures. 

Candidate will oversee cash payouts to customers over a predetermined threshold. 

Candidate will log all the day’s events in the log book, meet and greet jackpot winners of certain amounts and assist the guests with any needs they may have.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

LANGUAGE ABILITY

MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must possess intermediate PC skills.  Microsoft Office experience required. 

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate will monitor staffing levels and make adjustments as needed; coach and counsel employees; enforce all rules, service standards, policies and PGCB regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.  One year supervisor experience is preferred.
