JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for monitoring performance of electronic gaming devices, activity, and conditions of gaming areas, ensuring all HHR machines are operable and in good repair.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures compliance with approved procedures for the HHR areas in a professional manner.
- Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines.
- Repairs and modifies components, electric systems and peripherals of the gaming machines and kiosks.
- Configures HHR machines to meet manufacturers’ and regulatory agency specifications.
- Removes, moves, installs and/or upgrades HHR machines.
- Maintains an inventory of parts for the HHR machines.
- Monitors and tracks the HHR machine malfunctions, the cause, the repair, and the parts involved.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
- Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED certificate required; Associates degree in electronics or related field preferred.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience as an HHR Technician / Bench Technician with A+ Certification preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Must have excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of word processors and spreadsheets.
Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights.
