JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for servicing and building relationships with the guest, paying hand-pay jackpots, exchanging currency, executing player’s club signups and performing minor repairs on HHR machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates #AddLife culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.
  2. Responsible for fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
  3. Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of HHR machines; performs preventative maintenance on HHR Machines during down time
  4. Maintains a clean and safe environment and performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  5. Notifies shift supervisor of irregularities in customers’ play.
  6. Handles guest relations and minor guest disputes.
  7. Must be able to read gaming floor glass and pay table information and be able to recall vital game histories.
  8. Changes ticket paper and for writes up jackpot forms correctly.
  9. Promotes and issues the players’ card and or reprints cards upon request; meets set goals for players’ card signups.
  10. Performs minor repair to slot machines.
  11. Ensures gaming devices are operating properly; promptly calls for technical or supervisory assistance when necessary.
  12. Protects company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance including; but not limited to, internal controls, policies and procedures, and responsible gaming.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.

 

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
  • Obtain and retain required license(s).
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
  • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED certificate, plus six months to one year of work experience; other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

The noise level is loud when on the gaming floor. Candidate will be exposed to smoke when on the gaming floor. Confidentiality and gaming experience are a must.
