JOB SUMMARY
Cage/GSC Manager will be responsible for direct supervision of the cage operations in accordance with company Internal Control Policies and Procedures, Bank Securities Act, any state and federal regulations, and the company’s Responsible Gaming Plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local gaming regulations, Title 31 internal controls.
- Ensure a comprehensive training and testing program is routinely and regularly administered. Responsible to training manual updates and annual review of current / new Title 31 / AML regulations.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Assists with guest inquiries while monitoring and applying service recovery within authorized levels.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Ensures all staff are trained and follow CTR and SARC procedures; responsible for making sure all paperwork is completed and reported in accordance with established compliance procedures.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department by providing recommendations; supports compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
- Assist in acquisition of new players through the continuous promotion of the rewards card program and the special benefits of card membership.
- Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
- Review and approve cage documentation based on established levels of authorization in absence of Shift Manager.
- Prepare/review currency transactions reports in absence of Shift Manager on assigned shift.
- Verify vault accountability at end of shift on assigned shift. Verification of main bank and window cashier drawers. Authorizing checks. Prepare customer deposit.
- Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.
- Must be available for regularly scheduled work.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
- Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must have at least three years of Cage management
- Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License
Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
