JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the smooth and efficient drop and count of all areas of the casino.
Compensation: $16.50 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unlock and open drop boxes and bill validators, removing contents and rotating boxes to expose inside to camera and to co-workers.
- Re-lock boxes and bill validators and return to mobile cage.
- Segregate contents of boxes (opening/closing slips, coins, chips, and currency). Counting contents and documenting contents.
- Cash turn-in envelopes are sorted, opened, counted, and recorded separately by employee.
- Operate currency-counting machine to count bill validator drop currency.
- Reconcile and verify totals and then have the totals reconciled and accepted by Cage employees.
- Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of Count room equipment.
- Maintains general upkeep of Count room.
- Notifies Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
- Pick up and return keys for drop boxes.
- Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.
- Must be available for regularly scheduled work.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
- Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma
- Requires repetitive motions, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, standing, bending, teamwork, basic math skills, use of 10-key calculator, coin-counter, and currency counter.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License
Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
