The Rose Gaming Resort is a $480 million gaming and entertainment complex destination, located alongside I-95 in Dumfries, Virginia. JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing company Federal, State, and intercompany regulatory requirements. Responsible for application creation, updating, and submission of all applications. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements, and maintains internal controls, standard operating procedures, and regulations for state and federal agencies.
  • Performs daily audits and audit follow-up.
  • Reviews and completes regulatory compliance activities.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of state, local, and federal laws pertaining to gaming and the operations of the business.
  • Meets FinCEN and OFAC requirements and filings.
  • Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Reviews and interprets unusual transactions and files suspicious activity reports.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must be at least twenty-one years of age.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to deal with both guests and fellow Team Members in a professional and courteous manner, promoting positive customer relations for all by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree plus one (1) to three (3) years of experience in compliance, audit, legal, finance, or risk management; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must obtain a valid racing license, where applicable.
  • Required to hold a valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years’ driving experience; must be able to drive company or personal vehicles; must provide proof of insurance; Motor Vehicle background check required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. 
  • The Team Member may also be required to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • The Team Member is subjected to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and the functioning of machines.
  • The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
