JOB SUMMARY
The EVS Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment throughout the property. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing gaming machines, bases, and surrounding areas; ashtrays; trash receptacles; restrooms; offices; public spaces; windows; countertops; furniture; and decorative objects in the facility or common areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Clean and sanitize gaming machines, including spaces between machines and bases.
- Maintain cleanliness of ashtrays, trashcans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, countertops, furniture, and decorative objects.
- Vacuum and clean carpets.
- Promptly clean spills and remove bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols.
- Keep storage areas clean and organized.
- Maintain utility carts fully stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered floor care equipment.
Assist with other cleaning tasks and projects as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout all assigned areas.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
- Be comfortable working in smoking areas for extended periods.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
- Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
