JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Distributes horse saddle pads and head numbers to appropriate horsemen according to race schedule.
• Retrieves and cleans horse saddle pads throughout race night.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
• Perform work with chemicals as instructed by product labels.
• Report all maintenance issues as needed.
• Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member relations.
• Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.
• Promotes outstanding horsemen relations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position. American Sign Language is also an acceptable form of communication.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland Racing Commission required of all Racing Services employees.
