Title:  Inventory Control Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Responsible to ensure compliance to all Federal, State and Local Health Department codes.
• Ensures proper storage of all food and beverage inventory as specified by management.
• Enters inventory requisitions as needed for outlets and ensures accuracy.
• Enters purchase requisitions under the supervision and approval of management.
• Ensures quality and specifications of food and beverage deliveries in conjunction with Commissary and Receiving.
• Monitors and logs temperatures for all storage locations.
• Maintains neat, clean and orderly storage locations.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service industry required.  Previous inventory or stock room experience preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of proper food safety storage guidelines and temperatures.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
•  Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming establishment employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to lift Eighty (80) lbs. without difficulty.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to utilize a hand truck.
• Requires basic mechanical skills and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
